Never Burp Alone - Bulgogi Brothers @ Paradigm Mall

Was shopping at Paradigm Mall and noticed these interesting floor stickers

Never BURP Alone ♥
This is Food Meant for SHARING.

Did you know that 1.6 million tonnes of KIMCHI (approximately the weight of 5 Petronas Towers) is consumed every year in Korea?

WOW!

Check out the names of of some of the popular Korean cuisine . . you can never guess it right ! ;)

Bokkeum - Stir Fried Dish
Mandu - Meat Filled Dumplings
Bindaeddeok - Korean Style Pancake
(made of ground mung beans with green onions, kimchi or peppers cooked in a frying pan)

"Our food may sound like camels talking, but it tastes heavenly."

The term Bulgogi simply means "Fire Meat" in Korean, in another word, it is grilled marinated beef/chicken/pork.

Did you know that Bulgogi is listed at No.23 on World's 50 Most Delicious Foods ?
(compiled by CNN Go - Wiki, 2012)

I can't wait to try it out already !!
Bring a Fire Extinguisher for your mouth !? lolz

It's Dessert Time ! Fluffy Ice Experience at Tong Pak Fu 糖百府 @ Paradigm Mall

I've heard soooo much about Tong Pak Fu  . . so here is the verdict :) Dropped by at the branch in Paradigm Mall.

Fell in love with the colors of their wood tiles . .

♥ the pinch of the soft turquoise . . pretty artistic !

Well compliment with the bright orange and white chairs . .

This is where the magic begins . . how they transform a block of ice to your favourite dessert !

Its menu.

Tong Pak Fu is clearly the homophone of Tong Pak Fu (in cantonese), a famous Ming Dynasty scholar. Fu carries the connotation of shop, Tong refers to 'Tong Shui' or dessert while Pak symbolises the blooming of different varieties and styles. The combination then brings out the message of "a dessert shop offering myriad of choices" - be it traditional or new flavours.

The founders of "Tong Pak Fu" are Hong Kong Brothers, Ben and Man Li.

Our mini showels for the incoming "ice berg" ;)

Our order . .

Five-star Western Desert
Creme Brulee

Rating: Taste ♥♥♥♥ Texture ♥♥♥♥ Value for money ♥♥♥♥ Overall ♥♥♥♥
rm 7.80

Creme Brulee has always been my favourite dessert of all time !
The joy of breaking the shattering caramalized crust on the top layer . . the crack sound . . scooping out the rich, smooth and creamy custard filling inside is just EPIC !

Oozing with deliciousness!
The custard filling is not too sweet but delicious enough to keep you craving for the next scoop ;)

Certainly my favourite !!

Wanted to order their No. 1, must try ! Best Seller Tracka Durian Snow Ice, but it was sold out :( Almost in tears, the waiter recommended me to try out their next favourite . .

Award Winning: Snow Ice
Mango Snow Ice
Rating: Taste ♥♥♥ Texture ♥♥♥♥ Value for money ♥♥♥ Overall ♥♥♥
rm 8.80 (regular)

They claimed that they use fresh milk together with 100% freshly squeezed mango juice without any artificial and coloring. Is a really healthy dessert after all ! More reason to try out all the other flavours . . tehee :)

Served with side toppings: Aloe Vera Jellies, Nata de Coco and Passion Fruit Pop-Eggs. Of course I would prefer these toppings to be alil sweeter, however I believe they were meant to be slightly mild, so that you can actually taste the freshness of the mango ice !

What so special about this fluffy ice is the thousand layers of light and fluffy snow delicately piled up on each other that melt softly in your mouth with a cooling sensation.

Pure bliss !

Top 10 Romantic Restaurant: Blue Dragon Cafe @ Pandan Indah, KL

Located at 18G & 18M, Jalan Pandan Indah 4/33, Pandan Indah, Kuala Lumpur. Blue Dragon Cafe was actually selected as the Top 10 romantic restaurants in KL by Oriental Daily News !

 The main entrance.
The dining area at lower floor. It was quite packed during lunch hour.
We chose to sit upstairs. It was pretty empty when we were there.
The interior design is really classic.
Love the design on the white window panels & the classic black chandelier.
The white theme used is simply warm and romantic !
The place looks even more lovely at night with the right lightings to compliment the ambience.
Those pretty white sakura flowers are the highlight of the cafe.

They even have a private section for those couples who enjoy simply staring at each other ;)
A place to spark up some romance ;)

We shall move on to their menu.
We were actually served within 10 minutes !
 Their menu:-
Oriental | Western | Thai | Asian
They have a wide selection of beverages.
Do check out their beverage menu with exotic names and colors.
All priced at rm7.

rm 5.00 (ala carte)

Tom Yum Seafood Soup
Rating: Taste ♥♥ Spicyness ♥♥♥ Value for money ♥♥ Overall ♥♥
rm 7.00 (ala carte)

Served with mushrooms and fresh fish chunks, this is definately a choice for spicy lover.

Clear Tom Yum Seafood Soup
Rating: Taste ♥♥♥ Spicyness ♥ Value for money ♥♥ Overall ♥♥♥
rm 7.00 (ala carte)

On the contrary, this soup is more suitable for those who prefer moderate spicyness without compromising the original Tom Yum taste.
I personally prefer this one :)

Claypot Seafood Fried Rice
Rating: Appearance ♥♥ Aroma ♥♥♥ Taste ♥♥♥ Value for money ♥♥♥ Overall ♥♥♥
rm 8.90 (ala carte)

Served with a variety of ingredient such as squids, prawns, deep fried fish fillet, mushrooms and assorted vegetables. In relative to its appearance, the dish gets a high score for its aroma and taste.

Pineapple Fried Rice
Rating: Appearance ♥♥♥ Aroma ♥♥ Taste ♥♥ Value for money ♥♥ Overall ♥♥
rm 8.90 (ala carte)

The fried rice is nicely presented and has a good aroma. However i personally prefer it to have more combinations of ingredients to bring up the entire texture. The prawns were not to my expectation in terms of taste :(

Overall, a big thumbs up to its ambience and the affordable set lunch menu, definitely deserved a visit !

A big thank you to JoinMe and Blue Dragon Cafe for this invitation to review on their menu.
