Ramadhan Bites @ Pasar Ramadhan, TTDI

Ramadhan Bazaar really spoilt you with all the choices of foods especially the variety of snack to bite ! If you haven't been to any Ramadhan Bazaar before, there's no more waiting . . !!

My favourite bite of all time : Popiah stall
Beware of the long queue as this stall is also a favourite among the locals.

Deep Fried Popiah
Rating: Taste ♥♥♥♥ Value for money ♥♥♥ Overall ♥♥♥♥
rm 5.00/set of 5 rolls

The specialty of this bite is really the lip-smacking chilli sauce !!!
The crunch on the crispy skin with the finger licking good sauce . . ahhh . . .
Really, kudos to this chilli sauce inventor ! 5 thumbs up !

Wet Popiah
(Popiah Basah)
Rating: Taste ♥♥♥♥ Value for money ♥♥♥ Overall ♥♥♥♥
rm 5.00/set of 5 rolls

This wet version is really good too. It is made of the usual ingredients which consists of freshly sliced steam turnip, bean sprout and crispy fried fragrant shrimp.
I usually will take away a mixture of these together with the deep fried ones ;)

The next stall : Otak-Otak

Otak-Otak
Rating: Taste ♥♥♥ Value for money ♥♥♥ Overall ♥♥♥
rm 0.60 per piece
Wrapped in Banana Leaf and grilled on slow fire, Otak-Otak is impossibly delicious ! The aroma produced from the combination of the fish meat and its spices & herbs used is just superb !

Satak
Rating: Taste ♥♥♥ Value for money ♥♥♥ Overall ♥♥♥
rm 5.00 for 3 sticks (1 stick = 3 sataks)
Satak is actually made of minced fish meat, similar to Otak-Otak. However, Satak is much fragrant than the classic Otak-Otak due to its mixture of aromatic ingredients used such as grated coconut, lemongrass and onion

Loving all these traditional bites from the Ramadhan Bazaar.

Wait, there's more to read on foods from the Ramadhan Bazaar ;)
