I work in Shah Alam but to be honest I'm not well exposed to much good food here yet. Maybe I have not explored enough. Well, perhaps you can introduce some good place to me? My colleague recommended this place, Ah Cheng Laksa at Giant Stadium Shah Alam.
Ah Cheng Laksa was originated all the way back in 1960, in a small town Alor Setar, Kedah. It started off as a small family business, it was then passed down to one of their children, Ah Cheng and has expanded their business to Klang Valley ever since. It seems that originality is the secret to the popularity of their exotic Asam Laksa :)

Not sweet enough for me, standard of sweetness must be like the Iced Longan in Petaling Street :p
Of course, a must try for their signature dish . . Asam Laksa

The generous amount of fresh sardine contributes to the thickness of the soup. It is also served with chunks of fresh Kembang fish. Taste just like from North, the right amount of sourness and spicyness brings the North kick to this dish !
Here, they also served Asam Laksa with a variety of choice: Fish/Sotong/Prawn/Seafood.

Typical Curry Laksa with really rich Coconut milk. The chilli paste that they served with is really good! I was told that it's their grandma's special recipe !
They also served Curry Laksa with a variety of choice: Siham/Sotong/Prawn/Seafood.
